All individuals wishing to coach for SCYHA during the current hockey season must complete this application. All applications will be reviewed by the appropriate level coordinator(s), ACE coordinator, Coach in Charge, and the association executive board. No applicant may participate in any coaching capacity until the executive board has given approval and assignment to a team.
Coaches who have previously coached with SCYHA do not need to fill out the optional questions below.
All coaches are required to have a current USA Hockey Coaching certificate. All coaches must also complete an age specific module for the age they are coaching, available online through USAHOCKEY.com. If you are coaching multiple levels, you must also complete the corresponding age specific module(s).
